Stuart is a scientist exploring the possibilities of time travel, already able to turn back time 10 minutes. As his time travel program is cancelled he decides to take advantage of his work and cash his last pay cheque again and again. But before he can put his plan into action bank robbers appear. The FBI agent Sarah Tanner who had been tracking Stuart, tries to stop them but fails and many innocent people in the bank are wounded, including Stuart, so he has to instruct Sarah of how to use his time travel device. Sarah detects her chance to prevent the robbery, but is unsuccessful again and things even get worse: The time travel device falls into the hand of the criminals.
